This is a promotional video created onsite at the Fitchburg Art Museum, or FAM, by Rob Carr’s Document Design class at Fitchburg State University for the FAM Exhibit Land Ho! The show features 8 contemporary artists Carrie Crane, Sally Curcio, Leila Daw, Warner Friedman, Michele Lauriat, Sandy Litchfield, Shona Macdonald, and Sue McNally, as well as some of FAM’s Permanent collection pieces. Land Ho! will run from September 27th, 2015 until January 10th, 2016.
Meet the Artists is a series that was created by Rob Carr’s Document Design class at Fitchburg State University for the Fitchburg Art museum’s exhibit Land Ho! This series was created by traveling all over New England in order to hear from the artists themselves about their own work as well as the FAM exhibit, Land Ho! Meet the Artists is a rare opportunity for the viewer to take a look behind the creative curtain, to see the studios of the artists of Land Ho!, as well as to hear more about the creative processes featured in the exhibit.
